Kyl Myers is a sociologist at the University of Utah specializing in population and health. Specifically, Kyl studies gender and sexuality, and access to family planning services for underserved populations. 

Kyl is professionally and personally interested in research and practices that promote gender equality and challenge traditional gender roles. Kyl is the creator of which serves as an informational resource for Gender Creative Parenting. 

Kyl's community involvement includes working with the Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, the National Organization for Women, SLC Feminist, Intermountain Healthcare, rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters, and the Salt Lake County Jail.
